PEERS Meeting of Mind series

Join us online starting from 25 October 2024, and do become aware about how to use our Platform, including the CBRN Knowledge Hub!

As part of the ‘Making PEERS work with you’ Meeting of Minds (MoM) series, PEERS is glad to invite policymakers, standardisation bodies and CBRN-E practitioners and responders to join our Co-Creation Group and the initial online workshop, which will be held on the 25th October 2024, having a focus on the Social networking pillar of the PEERS Platform, the CBRN-E knowledge hub designed to apply a policymaker and CBRN-E practitioner-driven approach to standardisation.

Hosted by the University of Galway (UoG), the dedicated MoM workshop will start at 10:15 a.m. CET and will run for 1.15 hours.

At the workshop, Dr. Lukasz Porwol (UoG), will demonstrate some of the key components of the social networking pillar, but not only that, a hands-on approach with the participants is firmly integrated into the workshop proceedings for their benefit. This approach enables valued experience to be ascertained on the use of the Platform and its application thereafter.  As part of the undertaking, know-how transfer on how to create an Avatar, join or setup tailored groups and how to interact with other members of in the PEERS Co-Creation Group will be explained and shown in an active participation manner.

In advance of the workshop, as a member of the PEERS Co-Creation Group, registered people will be given access to the early beta PEERS Platform and enable for use in advance of the online event.  For this to happen, it is imperative to ask to have access to the Platform,  as well as to register at the MoM workshop.

Two other hands-on workshops will be held on the 20th November and on the 9th December 2024, to showcase the innovative aspects and how to use the Knowledge Dashboard and the Virtual Reality technology, respectively, as part of the PEERS Platform. Further information about the programme of each session is available in the agenda of the MoM series.
